However, I don't think I will hold out much hope for it, as I had created a new profile and completely deleted the old one. With that went the extensions. I had to redownload them. That is when I got Adblock Plus. I have just redownloaded it and will see if the crashing continues.

We're not affiliated or endorsed by the Mozilla Corporation but we love them just the same. I haven't heard of any problems like you are describing with my filters or anyone else's filters for that matter. If it happens on one certain site, could you post a link? If this is a random crashing, then I wouldn't think it would be related to ANY filters.
I also agree with the ed-meister that it probabbly isn't caused by AdblockPlus 0. From December 10th you will no longer be able to use Adblock on YouTube: the announcement comes from Google itself, which is sending a notification to users who access its service. For years, YouTube has allowed the use of Adblock, or software that could bypass advertising content, on its platform.
If the viewer uses an adblocker then the ad does not run and you do not get paid for that view. YouTubers get paid depending on how many times people click on ads.
Ultimately, AdBlock makes money from the generous support of our awesome users. While only a tiny portion of users end up making a donation, we are fortunate to have millions of users across the globe, so that small percentage goes a long way. Ultimately, the app only works smoothly in combination with the operating system. For example, it can be due to the iOS operating system for Apple devices or the Android operating system for Android devices, which can cause crashes in some apps.
These measures can be used to solve many AdBlock X problems in advance. Do you know any other solutions if AdBlock X keeps crashing? So for now I need to run without Adblock active. I hope someone out there finds the cause and a solution to this.
Re: Chrome adblock keeps crashing by mapx » Sun Sep 11, pm Remove the avira extension if you allowed it in chrome and test again. How-to add custom filters. Avira is installed on my Windows 7 Laptop, but has not been added as an extension to Chrome. To experiment, I have just disabled almost all of my current extensions and so far Adblock has not yet crashed again. Maybe one of these other extensions is doing it. I will enable them again one at a time and maybe I can find out which one is the culprit.
