Lufthansa Seat Maps Boeing This seat has limited recline and is also missing a window. This seat also has limited recline. The proximity to the lavatories may be bothersome. The proximity to the galley may be bothersome. Do you know this plane? Traveler photos 24 View all.
Complimentary beverage and meal service are offered on all long-haul flights. Overview This is the newest aircraft type in the long-haul fleet for Lufthansa. The seat was so spacious and excellent. The crew was so awesome and helped me out throughout the flight. Good legroom to be bulkhead seat. Nice to not have a seat in front that reclines into your space. Middle seats on in last row of premium eco have up to 6cm smaller width due to aisle narrowing towards back.
This was a fantastic seat. Almost like flying Business Class. Although the seats were not "lie flat", they did recline , were wide and very comfortable. There was plenty of leg room for my husband 6'2" and me 5'7". There was an amenity kit, thick blanket and pillow for each seat. We were given a menu to select our dinner. Currently, it says that the legroom is restricted as it is a bulkhead seat which is not true. Just like other exit row seats, there is no seat in front of you so all personal belongings must be stowed in the overhead bin and the personal monitor is stowed below the armrest.
However, it doesn't make the seat narrower since all other premium economy seats have their tray table stowed in the armrest anyway.
The same applies to 21A, C, H, and K. Seat 22D, E, F, and G are indeed bulkhead and they do have slightly restricted legroom. The worst seat is 45J.
You can't even lean on the wall to get some rest because the seat is 12 inches from the wall. I don't know any male over 5'8" that could sit in such a narrow seat. We had to take turns eating our meal because the seats are so small. The flight attendants were amazing and were very attentive.
In the galley the put out additional waters and snacks but I don't think anyone knew. I will never ever fly Lufthansa in Economy every again. I sat in 25C on an overnight flight. Premium Economy on Lufthansa was fantastic. I paid more so I would expect to be boarded right after business class. The seat was wide and roomy, lots of leg room for 6'2" guy. Service was fantastic. I would definitely fly Premium Economy over Economy anytime.
These seats do not recline fully, leg room is cramped and it costs a bomb to secure these seats! Stay away from this entire row, as the long flights in these seats are painful! Premium economy. Amenities kit. Quite loud when meals are arranged just behind. Reduced capacity of overhead bin due to emergency equipment in overhead bin.
So under the "45" seats there is media equipment. As other have said: Row 21, seats A, C, H, K can be really annoying if there is a line in front of the wash room. There is no barrier, some waiting people there even tread on the feet of the people sitting in row I would mark those seats as red, not yellow. In addition, seats D, E, F, G have limited legroom due to the bulkhead. I do not understand why PE was placed in between economy segments instead of directly after the business cabin.
It is a bulkhead seat but with plenty of legroom. It is a standard seat however there is a metal box under the seat 40K which makes leg room narrower than other seats. This seat is terrible. The curtain separating Business and Economy takes away half your leg room.
Because it's the first row with smaller aisles, carts and personnel keep bumping into you. I chose this seat because it was premium extra cost and claimed more comfort.
Yes it had more legroom but it was probably the narrowest seat I had ever experienced. Due to the seat configuration , the seat goes into the aisle, causing lots of knee bumps. Entertainment box reduces space fir feet. This means that there is very little traffic from either the crew or the passengers for pax seated in this row.
Maybe the bulkhead is a problem, but it seemed to have possibly more room, not less. Row 84 on the upper deck is a bad seat. The FAs are preparing meals and drinks in the space of the emergency exit, located between rows 83 and Trays are placed on the box containing the screens. It is a very noisy row with permanent action going on.
Row 28 has reduced leg place to due the boxed for video system of the row Regular Premium Eco seat and if you arctic proven you will like it. The aircon outlet above the luggage boxes blows streight into your face of the middle row seats.
I was freezing the entire flight. The two seats at the window side are not affected of this. Do yourself a favor and select this seat! I would avoid row I ddi notice lots of activity and lights on that row The seat 46B gives you a lot of room to stretch your legs next to the seat in front of you. It is the same for the seat 46J, I can highly recommend this seat. Seats in row 16 will not allow stretching legs if you're taller than 1m75 5ft2 due to the hard wall in front. Then, privacy is awesome as there is no passenger traffic in the corridor here.
The row is equiped with baby carriers so you may be out of luck for a good night's sleep. It was comfy, I did not find a problem seated close to the Galley. This my be "economy premium" but it is a horrible seat! It was so tight I couldn't even read a magazine! Nobody annoying at all and next to the gate if you are in a hurry for connecting flight. There are 4, normally less used and very clean.
As emergency exit space is used for storage of carts, and for handout of meals there is extra noise. Magazine storage in shelf right ahead of seats creates some traffic. Limited legroom - about 15cm less width - for entire row because of a box beneath the seats of row Very good seat, has more space than others airlines. Row 21, seats A, C, H, K can be really annoying if there is a line in front of the wash room. Row 27 ist perfect for extra leg room and the front row is very far away my hight 6,7.
Also the back of the seat is flexible an you can lean backwards. No serving or dishes, bathroom area near by. Legroom is OK if you're taller. Due to the room on the side of the chairs you can stretch your legs here and put down stuff.
What I really love about this seat is the privacy on the upper deck of the super silent It feels like being on a huge private jet with a few other people around. Being 1,94 tall the seat is not really comfortable for sleeping as too short but one gets through the night ok. In sitting or chilled position it's fine. I got lucky and the neighbor seat stayed free so I had tons of storage space for myself and for sleeping just extended my legs to the neighbors footrest.
If you have a neighbor though it'd be bothering in terms of privacy. The food was really good. Inflight entertainment is good. The flight was on time. My only complaint is the attitude of the flight attendants. Fairly arrogant from the beginning and not very attentive as too caught up being fabulous. Which is a shame, cause all in all, LH business class in the , especially in the upper deck, is a great product. A lot of people complain about the seat's lack of privacy which is true - you are out in the open.
In my opinion, the spaciousness of the cabin and seats make up for that lack of privacy. I am 6'6" and not as thing as I used to be. These seats are very roomy and it is extremely easy to find a comfortable sleeping position.
The center seats have the best storage space as well. Lufthansa cabins tend to be too hot to get a good night's sleep on an overnight flight but they are fine for a day flight. Honestly, I prefer these seats to the new United Polaris seats. Frankfurt to Chicago O'Hare. The TV screen boxes for the row in front 18D-G are positioned on the floor resulting in much-reduced leg room for everyone in seats 19D-G.
Aside from that, a classic Lufthansa experience. The service was the best I have ever experienced. Food was great. Movie selections very good. I cannot say anything bad. It was really comfortable and all the people were nice but I wish Lufthansa had fully flat beds because when I flew I had to put my feet on the compartment. It felt like an Angle Lie Flat! A great business class seat! This whole row has the overhead storage compartments almost filled with aircraft-related materials Extremely tight in all directions.
In a word, sardine can accommodation. In addition, the aft section of the plane is subject to considerable yaw. Very uncomfortable. All that section should be, at best, yellow. This seat is quite a bit more narrow than a regular economy class on the and much narrower than regular economy on the A Due to the fixed armrests containing trays an monitors that means bout inches less width and the power outlet under the seat and the aisle switching from premium economy to economy it is right in the path of the cabin crew with their trollies means it doesn't have full extra legroom.
I got hit in the shoulder with the drinks trolly as it protrudes out one side slightly and I am too tall to fit my shoulder under that latch and the crew slammed the filled food trolly into the front of my seat where the aisle jumps from two seat premium economy to three seat economy on the outside. If that tray hits your knee full on thats a trip to the hospital at least. Next time either my secret great seats on the A or premium economy on the June , lots of kids were in business class and they were noisy.
We were in the upper deck and took the advice to be in the back of the upper deck because it was less noisy. I think the front of the upper deck may have been better and you get BOSE head sets to block out noise.
The seats are awkwardly pointing in and the tv screen and is below average quality. The screens do not stay put all the time and the slanting of the seat is awkward.
This was my worst business class experience so far. The flight attendant was blocking everyone upstairs coming down with his armand favoring first class cabin first, then the following side of business class downstairs. Row 27 has great leg room. The aisle is turning slightly due to the PE seats in front. People passing by will bump into the person seated at 27H. Next time I will choose 27D or G. Worth the money.
Being on both the upper deck and near to the bulkhead mean they feel more private than the rest of Business Class, particularly compared to the lower deck. Additionally, I feel all A and K seats on the upper deck should be given a mixed very good and average review. These seats have extra storage bins under the windows, but do require climbing over the passenger in the aisle seat C or H if they are in lie-flat bed mode. LH's service is outstanding and this is a great brand-new plane.
With only 32 seats on the upper deck, you truly get the private plane feel. Dedicated staff, and very comfy seat. I purchased a Basic Business fare for not much more than Premium Eco, and it was totally worth it. TV-BOX under the seat claims a lot of legroom. This seat is a preferred seat but in my opinion the seats up to row are way noisier than the seats towards the back of the upper deck. Also, you are normally first off the plane when you sit in the back of the upper deck.
So that is my choice. Had Premium Economy seat 23 A. Not great with location of bathrooms right in front of you Also, though the seat is very comfortable it is really hard to get out to the aisle if you are in the window seat and either person has their seat reclined, which is common for long haul flights.
Probably 6" space to squeeze through to the aisle. Flight from Frankfort to Newark. Seat 16H is awesome and no extra charge up from Economy. First seat behind business class, extra legroom. Feet can go under curtain and into business class.
First seat served. Individual seat monitor along armrest. When selecting seat, choose this one!! Fantastic first class experience.
Despite the legend, this seat has a lot of legroom. Row is however 45B,C seats are slightly left of the seats in front in row The tray tables that are in the seat back drops off center to the right so a bit awkward as it rests on right armrest. Also slightly less pitch than the middle seats in row Must be the coldest seat in plane as you sit in a horrible drought - I get freezed during my 10h flight from JoBurg to Frankfurt. Seat is very narrow.
Plenty of legroom is a plus. Elegant open feeling with the nice touch of a rose on each window sill and power blinds for the windows. Everything a person could want in both the Lufthansa hard and soft product to me. Same seats a week later on the way back to Germany. For couples that want to be a little closer and chat the row 3 center seats work well. For couples to both enjoy the view and privacy, 1A and 1K work well. One of the worst seats in the plane.
Middle seat with almost no recline and next to the galley. Being next to the galley however means you are always served last and not always all options are still available.
